Cannot Find "Initialize local Git repo" anymore - VS 2022 17.0.4

I am unable to create a local Git repository in Visual Studio.

I can see local Repositories of referenced projects and I can stage, commit, etc to them but I find no way to add a new repository.
Probably the location changed or something (recently upgraded from 2019 to 2022).
I am searching for a week now, I cant find it. It's terrible.

I hope someone can help.

Repos are here (open repository, allows to open an existing repository from disk):

I can also see the blue lock beneath my referenced projects

    If you click File > New > Repository… is the option available and will it work?
