I inherited an application that uses Install Shield to create an install package. I've asked their tech support and they say the following are Microsoft Installer Condition Builder Conditions with the property of _IsMaintenance.
ALBX_UPGRADE=10000 AND (ALBX_INSTALL_TYPE=1 OR ALBX_INSTALL_TYPE=3)
Can someone point me or tell me what the above means or point me in the right direction. I have searched all of the above codes and I'm finding nothing online. It may be older code/conditions but I would expect to find something.
This particular condition is set on a SQL Schema script.
I'm looking for anything that explains these codes or any of the codes associated to conditional statements for MSI.
Any help is appreciated.
I only put the windows-app-sdk-general tag because I could not find ANYTHING for MSI.

There are tags like vs-general but a Google search on ALBX_INSTALL_TYPE gives nothing about MSI or MS docs -

RLWA32 43,306 Reputation points2022-01-17T21:57:57.27+00:00 The same issue was posted to flexera's support site at https://community.flexera.com/t5/InstallShield-Forum/Install-Shield-SQL-Scripts-Runtime-tab-script-condition/m-p/215473 but at the time of this writing there were no answers.
Perhaps you can ask for a more detailed explanation from InstallShield tech support.
