Font Rendering Problem on Android Oneplus Phone

Greetings,
I have a strange bug in an android device where the text is not visible (Image on the left). The app below is the standard tab app template available in visual studio, and using the XF (5.0.0.2291) and Essentials (1.7.0). Note that:
- I tried other XF5 releases
- Set the flag global::Xamarin.Forms.Forms.SetFlags("UseLegacyRenderers")
- Changed the device bright mode (Dark/Light)
All attempts have the same rendering issue. Has anyone faced something similar? I don't really think its a xamarin bug, because the sample works fine on there Android devices.

Anonymous2022-01-18T07:25:46.097+00:00 This issue is related to the Oxygen OS when you change Dark/Light mode, you can open an issue in the OnePlus community https://forums.oneplus.com/?from=foot. If this is Oxygen OS renderer issue.

2022-01-18T17:47:07.437+00:00 Many thanks for the hint, it was indeed related to the Dark mode!
Opting out by setting AppCompatDelegate.DefaultNightMode = AppCompatDelegate.ModeNightNo; in my MainActivity OnCreate fixed the issue.
