Keep Teams meeting participants muted unless called on

Question

Is there a way to assign a policy in Teams in the Admin Center to a set of users that ensures they cannot unmute themselves during a meeting? This is for a teacher of 1st and 2nd graders who keep unmuting themselves during lessons. It would be ideal for them to be able to raise their hand and be called on first by the teacher before being able to come off mute.

Hi,
I'm sorry but there is no way to inhibit users from unmuting themselves.
It's also not possible in Teams to unmute someone else.
