Oracle Instance terminated randomly 0x80000000000000

Question

Hi,

I am having issue tracing what is causing the Oracle Instance being terminated.

I am running Oracle 12c in a HP Proliant Server with 64GB RAM.

Hello @Pedro E

If you have ignored some kernel parameter settings during Oracle installation this might happen. It might be the reason for this DB Shutdown in some situations.
This could be sorted with the Help of the oracle support.

thanks for the response. I was using 11.2G before but did not encounter such issue. Only when I start 12c version.
