Hi Team,

Is OEM License necessary for newly purchased branded Laptop though we have volume license purchased for the organisation?

Can we transfer our Volume licence from old desktops to newer laptops ?

Regards,
Allen Macwan

The volume center does not read posts here. You can email volume licensing service.

    Hello AllenMacwan

Thank you for your question and reaching out.

I can understand you have some query regarding Licensing.

Please note if you are going to use your Company's Volume License then there is no need to purchase OEM licenses.

    Hi @Limitless Technology ,

    Thank you for you reply.

but upon reading the link mentioned in your comment :

    172539-microsoftteams-image-1.png

in the example used in this pdf to explain the license-thematics they orderd 50 PC-Systems with PRE-Installed Windows Pro - this makes me believe that is definitively necessary to buy OEM as base for Volume-License...

Now i am confused as it contradicts your answer.
