I have a customer that is trying to run a create cast statement on Flexible server and they are getting an error. We have raised a support ticket which ultimately returned the information below.
Case Summary:
Symptom:
Create cast failed.
Cause:
Due to security reasons permissions were revoked to create cast in flexible server.
Resolution:
No workaround for now, and development are looking for a solution.
It would be good to know if there is any timeline for the solution, as it will dictate which solution we go for? PaaS or IaaS.
