I have a customer that is trying to run a create cast statement on Flexible server and they are getting an error. We have raised a support ticket which ultimately returned the information below.

Case Summary:
Symptom:
Create cast failed.

Cause:
Due to security reasons permissions were revoked to create cast in flexible server.

Resolution:
No workaround for now, and development are looking for a solution.

It would be good to know if there is any timeline for the solution, as it will dictate which solution we go for? PaaS or IaaS.

To understand more could you please share the error message you are getting while creating a cast in flexible server also please do share the support cased id which you have created earlier to better assist you.
