Microsoft Authenticator in Android Work Profile not prompting for fingerprint

I've got an Android phone (Pixel 6 Pro) that's enrolled in Endpoint Manager (which I'm the sysadmin for) as a BYOD / Work Profile device. In my personal profile, when I open Microsoft Authenticator, it prompts for my fingerprint, and that works fine. However, in my work profile, Authenticator only accepts a PIN. How can I set it up (in the app, the profile, the device, an Endpoint Manager policy, wherever) to allow Authenticator in the work profile to use fingerprints (and I assume other biometrics on other devices)?

On my Pixel 6 Pro on Android 12, I've found under Security -> Advanced Settings, at the very bottom, was "Fingerprint Unlock for work". Once set up, I was able to use my fingerprint.

Not sure why the option above it, "Work profile lock = Same as device screen lock" didn't suffice, but at least I've sorted it.

For those on Samsung devices, specifically the S20 and Android 13 , you can find the setting under Device 'Settings' > 'Security and privacy' > 'Work profile security' & just add a fingerprint.

@Jake Moe Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, it is suggested to try to enable fingerprint in the Android system settings of the Android Work Profile. If this issue still exists, it is not sure whether it is caused by Microsoft Authenticator or it is causedd by Android Work Profile. It is needed to check some information in the background to find the root cause. With Q&A limitation, it is suggested to create an online support ticket to get more accurate help.
