Hi guys,

I have:

  • 2019 RDS CALs
  • Windows Server 2019 terminal server farm
  • Windows Server 2012 R2 Remote Desktop Licensing Server

I have a Service Provider License Agreement key but when I enter it I don't get 2019 option.

Does that mean I have to install Remote Desktop Licensing Server role on a Windows Server 2019 server?

    Hi @Lt. Columbo

Your RD Licensing server needs to be running Windows Server 2019.

    I hope that helps!

    Kind regards
    Daniel

    Hi @!Daniel Bradley

I have only two Windows Server 2019 servers.
One has Remote Desktop Gateway role.
Another one has Remote Desktop Connection Broker and Remote Web Access roles.
Which one I can safely install Remote Desktop Licensing Server role?

    Thanks.
