Office activation problem on a new computer

I change the hard drive on my computer and when I tried to open Office on it, it says my account doesn't have any licence.

However, I purchased one in 2020 and and I have the product key in an e-mail the product key.

    I'm assuming you not referring to Office 2008 or 2011. On modern versions of Office, visit your Microsoft Services & Subscriptions page. On the right end of the line that read Install Office apps, click on the right-pointing arrow and select an installer. After it downloads to your Downloads folder, double-click it to install Office on your new hard disk.

    The Microsoft site keeps track of your product keys now.

    Please make sure the account which bound with Office key is correct, then I suggest you login to "Services & Subscriptions", check the products you've purchased.

    If you have an Office 365 subscription, you can de-activate Office on the old Mac and uninstall Office from the new Mac, re-download the Office suite on your new Mac to install.

    If you have a perpetual license, such as Office 2016 for Mac, then you have to reinstall Microsoft Office on your old Mac first.
    But according to your description, you changed your hard disk, if you have no way to do this, I would suggest you contact Microsoft to seek help.
