Why I'm billed for services I never opted for

Azure put me on developer support for a month , never showed my charges in Cost Analysis and sent me bill at end of month. I wasn't shown this amount when I checked cost of my resources everyday in cost analysis tab. I never subscribed for developer support too. Why I was charged ?

People like me will refrain using Azure resources for learning when there are hidden costs not shown. Highly disappointed.

    Microsoft Azure is billed for the services being used. There are no hidden charges levied on Microsoft Azure users. In your case, the developer support would have been enabled by default which needs to be investigated to understand what went wrong in the backend. If everything goes well with your Azure account investigation, refund will be initiated and you will get back your money to your bank account.

    I would appreciate if you could contact Azure billing and subscription management team by raising a support request using this link - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/supportability/how-to-create-azure-support-request. The ticket enables you to work closely with the support engineers and get a quick resolution to your issue.

    FYI: Azure Billing and Subscription Management support is included in the Basic Support Plan without any charge.
