OS: windows 10 1909 - UAC enabled via group policy - User machines are not connected in company network, Through MS-Teams helpdesk taking user PC remotely. Helpdesk person trying to open command prompt with elevated privilege (Run As Administrator). Due to UAC, the credentials screen is hidden for Helpdesk person.

We tried with Runas method / Psexec / 3rd party command line tools. But nothing helped. is there way to open command prompt with elevate privilege via Teams screensharing? Client dont want to share the local admin credentials to end user. Only helpdesk has to type-in the credentials when it's prompted.

    Hello @Prasanna S ,

I'm not sure what are the exact GPO settings that are applied but adjusting the GPO could fix your issue (removing black screen) and you should then be able to see UAC.

    Set to disabled:
Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options > User Account Control: Switch to the secure desktop when prompting for elevation

Hope it helps and don't forget to upvote.

    Kind regards,
    Domagoj
