Hello, I have an Intel Core i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40 GHz which has 4 cores and seems to fit the other requirements. Why it is not approved for Win 11?!?!?

    Hi @Sawcy1 ,

the Intel Core i7-4700MQ is a 4th generation Intel CPU from 2013. Windows 11 requires a Intel CPU 8th generation or newer.
Some more details please take a look here: https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2021/08/27/update-on-windows-11-minimum-system-requirements-and-the-pc-health-check-app/

    Hello,

Unfortunately, i7-4700MQ processor is not compatible for Windows 11, according to Microsoft.

Please check with official Windows 11 list of supported processors:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors

You can drop a feedback to Microsoft about this, using Feedback hub app.

    Regards.
