Microsoft Edge - which policies to set up in order to allow synchronization of Basic Info, Passwords,History for users using roaming profiles.

Recently we switched from Firefox to Edge in our VDI infrastruce which utlizes roaming profiles.
After finding out that Edge doesn't store browser data to directory which gets uploaded to roaming file we had to set up computer policies in order to let users save favorite pages. These policies are "ConfigureOnPremisesAccountAutoSignIn" and "RoamingProfileSupportEnabled". That allowed users to save favorites succesfully.

What I am now facing is users being required to login to their 365 accounts everytime they log in and log out. Without remembering accounts or passwords. I suppose that the reason is that I have only Favorites and Settings enabled when I look into Edge settings.

What I am failing to find is to which group policies these settings are linked to. I have tried setting up the policy "Configure the list of types that are included for synchronization" and adding "favorites " etc.

After applying this policy I stil get the same sync menu in Microsoft Edge with Favorites and settings enabled and the rest is managed by my organization.

Does anybody know where the issue lies? How can I change the sync settings so that the browser syncs more than favorites and settings? Also which setting do you think I need to allow so that office 365 web will remember the user? I will just add that for now we don't have our on-premise connected to 365 for different reason. Anyway users still would like have some browser data synced.

I did a bit of digging and foud out that Microsoft might not* support this option. To quote this document:

When on-premises sync is enabled, users won't be asked to enable sync. In addition, users can't turn off sync in Sync settings, and they can't turn on sync types that aren't supported by on-premises sync.

Does this mean that Firefox, a third party option, works better on Windows on-premise than Microsoft Edge?

    Hi @Denis Rose ,

According to your description, I tested the relevant policies and found that when ForceSyncTypes and SyncTypesListDisabled are configured at the same time, SyncTypesListDisabled has a higher priority than ForceSyncTypes.

This could be the cause of the problem, you can try navigate to Edge://policy to check them, like this:

You can try to configure the SyncTypesListDisabled policy to remove the list items in it. I think this should work for you.

    Tahnks for trying to help.
So far these are the policies that show up in Edge browser. I didn't use "SyncTypesListDisabled" because I don't need that one. I don't suppose I should do that? For now I would just be happy to let users keep all their data and work from there to optimize it.

I have tried to add the policy just for sure and disable openTabs just to see if it intervenes with something. But still as you can see bellow. I now see the policy in edge:://policy ,however it didn't change anything in sync settings.
