hello i have migrated all my printers (export/import) to a new 2019 Windows Server VM.

We currently are mapping all printers by group policy.
\User Configuration\Preferences\Control panel Settings\Printers
We have the following options:

So my question : now with a new server name

Shall i change all the Actions from 'Create" > "Update" ?
Shall i change all the Actions from "Create" > "Replace" ?

What is my best way to do this?

Thanks,

    Hi

Please use replace. Update will not change the map from the old printserver to the new's one, it only change the printqueue settings, or map it if not already mapped.

If in your testing you see the old print-queue don't disappear, you can create the existing's one with delete, and the new's one with replace. To be sure it's applied.
