Hi,
I am facing one odd issue in Microsoft.WebView2. I have created a very basic application with below packages but whenever i am trying to open a page it's showing as "Can't Open the page" and Error code: RESULT_CODE_KILLED_BAD_MESSAGE
Microsoft.Web.WebView2 - v1.0.1072.54
Webview2.Runtime.X64 - v97.0.1072.62
Target Platforms - x86/ Any CPU
Is there anything I am missing? I had the same issue earlier but after couple of restart it got resolved but this is not working for this case now.

Based on the environment you mentioned, I used them to create simple examples in win11, but it works fine without the mentioned issues. This is test result image.
So to better understanding the issue, I want to confirm the following things with you:
In addition, I recommand you can try to repair Edge, it might work. Or you can try testing it in Edge Canary to see if it has the same problem.

Thank you for your reply and these details. And according to the environment you mentioned, I created a simple demo and try to reproduce this issue but failed. It can also work normally in Windows 10 20H2. This is the image of the result of the relevant test. By the way, have you trid to repair or reinstall Edge, and any result of test in Edge Canary?

I took sometime to reply on that. I was able to make it work through Edge Canary. I am not sure why it didn't work with Production Edge but another point is if i run the .exe only it started working but it didn't work when I ran it through VS 2019.

I can't reproduce the problem, so I'm afraid I can't determine the cause of the problem. I've seen a similar problem elsewhere, but it's been fixed in Edge 93. And as I mentioned, you can try to repair or reinstall Edge, or downgrade webview2, it might work. Otherwise you'll have to wait for an update to Edge. Additionally, you can submit feature requests or bugs in the WebView2Feedback report refer to this doc.
