laptop with 300 GB HD and 24 GB ssd! how to know that the ssd is running or not whether as a cache of a storage?

I have bought a laptop of ASUS S550C series which states that the in 300 GB hard disk and a 24GB ssd.

I don't know what the ssd is doing for the computer.
the SSD is named as KINGSTONE SMSM150S324G
when i open the task bar to check it shows this166766-image-2022-01-20-181646.png

so i am not sure what does this mean.
i heard it was inaccessible by the user and works as cache but how r we suppose to know.

    You won't see anything unless you perform operation.
    Just for test try copy some files and paste them into the SSD or copy from the SSD and paste them into the other hard disk and see if there is any activities here.
