Can someone explain why PC Health Checkup app is missing the "Check Now" button?

I attempted to see if my old laptop had any incompatible features with Windows 11. The PC Health Checkup app installs and runs just fine, but does not provide the service I had expected it to according to all other users I have seen.

I expanded the Windows Update section, and am presented with a link to open Windows Update. My computer is up to date.

I do not understand why the Check Now button is missing unless the PC is ready for Win 11. Should PCHC not tell me this if it were the case?

    Hello EC-5480

    This means that the device was already checked and it is compatible, then offering the update directly. I think in my case I tried also to click on that link that says "Check my specifications" on your Windows update screenshot, and it also showed again the passed elements.

    Maybe it already checked the requirements somehow because it says "Upgrade to Windows 11 is ready".

    You should try to click the "Download and Install" button, it should check the requirements.

    When I has upgrading to Windows 11, it was like your situation, but backwards, the pc health check had the check button, but there was no "Upgrade to Windows 11 is ready" message in Windows update, and I used the upgrade tool that you can download for free on the official Microsoft site:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11 (To download this tool, you need to expand the "Before you begin" thing under "Windows 11 Installation Assistant" and read it, then click the "Download Now" button, then launch the EXE file and you will be guided to install Windows 11).

    I think your system meets requirements for Windows 11 and that's why it is not mentioning any issues.

    Although, you can drop a feedback for PC Health Check app, if you like. Use Win+F to open Feedback hub.
