    Hello <em name="deleted_8281021">anonymous user</em>,

There were some issues noticed with Azure AD password hash sync when you use V2 endpoint with older version Azure AD connect so we could recommend updating to Azure AD connect V2.0.

In Addition, azure AD Connect was released several years ago. Since this time, several of the components that Azure AD Connect uses have been scheduled for deprecation and updated to newer versions. To attempt to update all of these components individually would take time and planning.

To address this, we wanted to bundle as many of these newer components into a new, single release, so you only have to update once. This release will be Azure AD Connect V2.0. When you deploy AADConnect V2.0, the V2 endpoint will be automatically enabled.

By using the new V2 endpoint, you'll experience noticeable performance gains on export and import to Azure AD. This new endpoint supports:

Syncing groups with up to 250k members.
Performance gains on export and import to Azure AD.
Selective Password Hash Synchronization feature was released part of V2 endpoint and released 1.6.2.4 version.

The major changes of Azure AD Connect V2.0 are detailed here.
