Hi @Baraka ,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum and posting your question here.
In order to verify your issue, please provide some detailed information:
- What type of account are you using? Is it a POP3 account?
- What detailed version of Outlook are you using?(File > Office Account > About Outlook)
- According to my search, this problem may occur most frequently when you have a Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox and a POP3 account in the same profile.
The problem also occurs if the folder selected as the default delivery location in your POP3 account does not exist. To fix this issue, you have to change the delivery location in your POP3 email
account, here is a document for your reference. - Also, we suggest that you try accessing your Outlook in safe mode and check if it crashes: Press Windows+R and type Outlook /safe, then click ‘OK’
If the issue didn't occur while in safe mode, it means that there is an add-ins that is causing your Outlook to crash.
To disable add-ins via File> Options > Add-Ins > Manage Add-ins and disable them, open Outlook again and check if the problem is solved. - Besides, try creating a new user profile via Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Add , type a name under the Profile Name option and click on OK, then setup the email account and check if the problem is solved now.
If these don't help, it is recommended that you Repair office from Control Pane and see if it makes difference.
