Re-activate Office Home and Business 2019

Hi,

I want to be able to re-activate an Office Home and Business 2019 licence. It was previously installed on a Windows Laptop but it had the Hard Drive replaced cause it went bad.Now, upon activation it says I cannot activate because it was already been activated once on another device.Which it was.On va old drive.Which is now dead. How can I unbound the old activation to be able to re-activate on same laptop but with the changed drive ?!

    Hi @Marioux ,
    Please follow these steps to uninstall product license in PC:
    Search CMD, right-click the Command Prompt and run as administrator. Then copy and paste the command, click Enter at last:
    cscript.exe "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /dstatus
    If you are running 32-bit Office on a 64-bit operating system:
    cscript.exe "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /dstatus

    If you can find the Office 365 product key in list, try to remove it by typing the following command with the Last 5 characters of installed product key (I replace it with XXXXX, but what you type in is what you see on your computer) in this interface:
    cscript.exe "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /unpkey:XXXXX
    If the 32bit version of Office installed on a 64bit operation, run the following command:
    cscript.exe "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /unpkey:XXXXX

    Hello,

    The hard drive on which the licence was installed is DEAD.I cannot access it. Thus I cannot uninstall Office from it.
    So I have installed a new SSD into the same device, installed Widows, Office Home and Business, signed in with the Micrsoft Account for activation.Gaved me the error I wrote in my first post.
    Now, I have uninstalled the product key successfully , rebooted the PC, started Excel and I get the same error. I really need to be able to activate office again. Please help.
