Ok, hate to do this to you, but can try the steps here?
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/configure-edge-to-export-search-results?view=o365-worldwide
Or use IE as the browser instead?
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Team, I am able to successfully create eDiscovery reports and Export them to a folder on my laptop as .pst files. When I try to open them via Import of Outlook pst file option I receive a message that the file "is not an Outlook data file (.pst)." My only option then is to click ok. What am I doing wrong? I need to send it to the Partner who requested it.
Regards

Are you exporting the results or the actual items?
The results.csv cant be imported into Outlook but the actual messages can be via pst.
Did you follow this?
AndyDavid, when I try it in Edge I get this below. I substituted my servers name for (my server name) and the users name with (my user).

Hi @Bigwil4555
If using Exchange Management Shell as a workaround, would it work for you?
The cmdlets would be like:
New-MailboxSearch "Search name" -StartDate "09/01/2021" -EndDate "10/13/2021" -SourceMailboxes "user" -TargetMailbox "Administrator"
Start-MailboxSearch "Search name"
Once the search completes, you should be able to see the messages in the target mailbox.
And you may use Outlook to select the search folder and export the messages to a pst file.

The answer ended up being I "had" to use Internet Explorer to get the .pst file exported. All other browsers wouldn't work. It seems there's a "hook" in IE for that process. Thanks all for your assistance.
