Greetings.

I created several Azure Information Protection labels and I published them all. every thing working as expected.

I am trying to automate the assignment of the label in case the end users forgot to do that using Exchange mailflow rules. Like if the email was sent to inside organization then assign my custom "Internal" label to the email. But inside the rule "Apply Office 365 Message Encryption and rights protection to the message" all I can find are the default RMS template. I am not finding my custom labels.

Is it doable or not? Is there any missing configuration that I have to follow.

Thank you

Musab

Generally speaking, it's RMS Templates that you should see there, not labels. What does Get-RMSTemplate show? You can also run a:

    Test-IRMConfiguration -Sender user@domain.com
