vWAN - monitoring of the P2S connection

HI all,

I would like to prepare the dashboard where I could find the following information about vWAN / P2S connection

• show historical total users in past 7 days (per Region)
• show historical total users in past 30 days (per Region)
• show concurrent user per Region
• show auth errors
• show which users are connected

The first two are quite simple because I can use metrics (microsoft.network/p2scpngateways -> P2S Connection Count / Sum) but what about the last 3 points? Where I can find such of logs (if the authentication is via AAD)? Azure Sing-in , Activiti logs?

I understand that you have questions regarding monitoring your P2S VPN connection. All the user information related to AAD with P2S can be seen in the AAD Portal. If you navigate to the Sign-in Logs in AAD, it should have the user information as shown below:

It shows the username, application they are trying to access and the sign-in errors if any as well as the location that they are connecting from. Hope this answers your question.
