Excel question about automatically changing numeric formats into date

Hello,

i am working on list of 78 thousands rows in Excel 2016 and i got a problem with data formats.

I got that file from coworker and i noticed that all decimal numeric values are by default in that list with . instead ,.
This made numbers like 2.1 automatically changed into date like ![167907-image.png][1]. Unfortunatelly i dont know true numeric values from that column before that automatic change.

So is it possible to changed the date format back to initial number value without loosing the true cell value [not get numeric value of date]?
