Exclude classification property (metadata) for RMS encyption

Hello,

DLP product is not able to identify the classification property on RMS encryption policy applied documents.

Is there anyway to exclude classification property (metadata) while protecting files with encryption?

@az-ohamza , I understand that you are using some DLP software and it is unable to read the classification data from encrypted files. The protection using RMS will only work if Classification/labelling is done as per my knowledge. Excluding classification will cause protection to cease. If you have a way to program the DLP vendor software then you can try using the Microsoft Information Protection SDK to customize the experience for your environment . Please do check if that works for you .
