windows server 2012 r2 update causing issue

Hi Tech Expert, I need a guide concerning a challenge that i am having with Windows Update on Windows Server 2012 r2. There is particular version of update that causes the server to restart repeatedly. Until we uninstalled the update and manually stopped Windows Update before it became stable. So I really need you to help me out with a bypass option of the particular update causing issues to another one.
We have nor recovered from that issue yet.
However, I need your support.

    Sounds like the Jan 11th update? If so the fix is to install this out of band update.
