I am new to azure, I was assigned a task to create a custom dashboard to show particular application insights are up and running. I created a dashboard using performance metrics. But i was asked to simplify that, all they want to see is that application insight is up and running or not. Just a tile which says this application insight is on or off.

How to do that ? and can i add multiple application insight on a single tile for a centralized report !

    Hi,
The Application Insights resource is not like a VM or database that has running or powered off state. Actually, Application Insights is a resource that you use to monitor applications as for example web applications. If you want to show if a web site is available or not you could create availability test within the Application Insights resource for your website. After that you can pin the availability graphic that is available in the Overview tab of your Application Insights resource.
