Why can I only go back 1 year when searching in an Outlook Shared mail box?

We have a shared mail box in our Office 365 account, we use it to archive emails that we need to reference sometimes 2 - 3 years after the email was sent. When I complete a search it only provides me with emails going back 1 year from the sent date. Is there a way to change the settings on that shared box to search back further without going to the online version and searching in specific date ranges?

Hi, is the shared mailbox configured to cache downloaded folders?

If so, uncheck that option in Outlook and restart Outlook and search again:
