My monitors don't receive any display signal after I select ANY option in the windows recovery environment menu, and I am forced to hard reboot my computer. Everything else launches fine and I am able to use my computer as normal, however I am trying to diagnose and repair another issue through the chkdsk command, and that won't run after reboot either. I cannot enter safemode because I do not get any signal to enter safe mode after trying from WRE and pressing f8 on normal boot does not do anything either.

My system will go to recovery mode with no display. I have display port, hdmi and onboard but nothing displays. i press enter and system returns to windows. Annoying cos i need to get into BIOS and cant

If you use a workstation make sure you are connected via the onboard video connector if you have a onboard video card, the video connector from add-in video card are usually not working in recovery mode.
