It's really a Microsoft 365 limitation.
With Microsoft 365, you can install and sign in to Office on 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets, and 5 phones.

What is the maximum number of allowed devices one person can be signed into MS-Teams.
Is there a golden number to the allowed number of devices one person can sign into their Teams account?
For example: Joe has his (3) Cell phones. Work, Personal, Emergency. Joe also has 3-tablets. Joe also has 3 Macs and 3 PCs.
But what happens when Joe goes out of town and forgets ALL his devices at home and goes and buys a new phone, tablet, PC, and MAC.
Can Joe sign into his Teams account and use as normal, will there be a limit to the number of devices Joe can sign into? Will the other devices sign out?
Can Joe sign into Teams on all 15 devices and receive messages simultaneously on all devices at the same time?
Then what if Joe is at a friends house and has NO device with him so he tries to sign into Teams using his friends Phone, Tablet, PC, and MAC. Now were close to 20 devices. Will they all work?
I know this is all made up, but what is the official limit. When will he not be able to access/sign in and what limiting factor will stop this?

Hi WilliamHopstetter-0000,
As a supplement, if you sign in more than the limit, some Office will sign you out of devices automatically to keep balance.
