Unable to Deployment failed while purchasing the domain name

Hello Everyone,

I was trying to purchase a domain name from my login in Azure Portal. However, the deployment failed with a bad request "Not sufficient payment history". I searched and got a similar post where others also had the same issue. I followed the instruction to verify the credit card active status, payment history. All looks good but still, I'm unable to purchase.

Could someone assist me with this? My current subscription plan is Basic "Pay-As-You-Go".

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We are sorry you're facing this issue. can you please share with us which Aure documentation you followed? Have you already created an azure app service and tried removing the spending limit?

Thanks for the response and sorry for the delay in responding. I purchased an App service plan with the S1 tier which has a custom domain option. However, when I tried to purchase a new domain name from azure, deployment failed with some error messages like "there is no payment history". After which I tried to find answers for this issue. I landed in a few pages (same as my question). In one of the posts, there was a reply from a Microsoft employee (support engineer) stating it could be due to a free account, no credit card or inactive credit card, or no payment history in the subscription.

so I checked all those and make sure I have a valid credit card, payments made in the past without delay, and no spending limit. I tried to purchase again and then again it failed with the same issue. On top of this, I logged into a different account which is actively used for more than one year, the same issue there as well. Same issue for many people who has a basic plan I guess. I don't want to purchase a support plan of $30 just to ask about this issue. Appreciate it if you could help in resolving this issue, it will help many people around the globe. My email id used to login to the portal is "learnsmartcoding@Stuff .com
