SharePoint 2016: File not found instead of Access denied

Dear all,

since some days users that try to open SharePoint websites on our SP2016 server they do not have the necessary access rights for, get an error message "Sorry, something went wrong
File Not Found." instead of the usual "Access denied" message. Any idea?

Did you add any custom scripts to this site?

1.You could try to remove these custom script then log in again.

2.You could try to add some url parameters to your site url then log in again. For example: http://siteurl/dafault.aspx.
