ADF - Managed Identity to access CosmosDB - Role not getting assigned

We are trying to create a linked service to CosmosDB in the Azure Data Factory using Managed Identity. We generated a system assigned managed identity for DF and assigning the role "DocumentDB-Contributor" using Azure PowerShell. The execution is successful, but we are not seeing the Role assigned to the managed identity.

There is no error message while executing it. How can we troubleshoot this issue ?

You mean "DocumentDB Account Contributor" role assignment to ADF Managed Identity?

I tried same. It works with out any issue. I am able to see my ADF managed identity under "DocumentDB Account Contributor". Please check below screenshot.

If above is not the case, then please share details of the steps to follow to repro your scenario. So that I can try same to help better. Thank you.
