Prerequisites for BizTalk Server 2016: Office Web component (owc)

Hi,

Can I delete the office web components that are pre-installed with BizTalk Server 2016? owc is a legacy component that dates all the way back to 2003 and contains serious security risks.

Because we do not utilize BAM reports, can I remove owc or do I need to install Excel 2016 instead?
