Part of my app was different in the store than when sideloaded

Question

I uploaded an updated application to the store. One of the updates was made to a ContentDialog. When sideloading the app all looked fine, and the changes made to the ContentDialog was included. I uploaded the .msixupload file to the store in order to update the store version of the application. When it was published the new version looked ok except for the ContentDialog, which still was of the old version.

Why is not the entire application updated when submitting a new version to the store?

For some reason it works now. I suppose the application somehow found the old ContentDialog in my computer.
