I have bought a new PC with Windows 11.
I have a NAS (Synology DS413J) that I can connect the file share on, but I can not connect to the NAS DSM management program.
I cant find the NAS by using Synology assistent either.
I still have my old PC with Windows 10 in the same Lan and all works well.

I have found that if you use the Hello Windows Login (Pin, Fingerprint or Facial Recognition) Network resources are unavailable as Synology does not recognize the credentials...You will need to login with your password to connect to Synology.

Yes, it works! However once set up, the drive is again not accessibly if I log in using say PIN. How do we resolve this issue?

Move to Mac OS, its simple and fast...
I handle WIndows and Mac systems in my office, only from windows 11, I face many issues connecting to the NAS server.

In case problem persist, open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.

Hi,
Everything works fine on my old Windows 10 PC.
I have the latset version of DSM 6.4,3 days old on my NAS.
But cant access it form my new PC with Windows 11.
I have tried to stop defend firewall and virus program, but it didnt help.

Try right click on its application and go to Properties and click on Compatibility tab and set to run in Windows 10 mode.
Make sure report this issue in the Feedback Hub app.
I have tried this it dosent work. I dont think there is something that I need t open for in the Window11, but I dont know what.

I have this same problem after the latest Windows 11 update I installed last week. The update itself broke the connection. It worked fine up until then. Not a Synology problem, it's a Microsoft problem. Edge, Chrome and FireFox Browsers all will not connect to the DSM UI for the NAS drives After the update!

This is CLEARLY an update with windows and NOT ANYTHING to do with Synology.
OWN YOUR MISTAKES MICROSOFT!
I'm a Microsoft partner and can CONFIRM FOR A FACT THIS IS YET ANOTHER STUPID MICROSOFT stuff-up. Microsoft should PAY for every tech that is sent to fix this.
People make a tab of your time and invoice Microsoft for it, and any lost time by ALL employees. Then bill them, they must pay for their careless mistakes.
Reza-Ameri can you stop answering, you clearly know almost NOTHING about synology or any NAS.
Please don't answer questions you have ZERO experience with.
I have the Same problem With my two Synology NAS drives. It started after the latest Windows 11 Update. Before it worked fine. Both NAS's have the latest DSM so this is definitely an Edge problem and not a Synology Issue!

I have 2 desktops and 2 PCs all running Win 11 23H2. The two Desktops I can access he Synology from Windows Explorer undr network. The 2 PCs - Access Denied
The only way I can get in is to use the Run Command and enter the IP address of the NAS - then as long as I'm logged in I can get all my shares listed and from there I can also map network drives.

I can access using MS Edge but it shows the connection as being "not secure" . However in my local Network Workgroup you can't sign in to any of your Synology devices.
I learned this the hard way... just purchased a $6K DELL Precision Workstation and I was told by Dell that their motherboards are now only able to run Windows 11, unless you specifically ask for Widows 10 system... so back it's going since apparently there's no going back to Win 10 without the same issues.
Microsoft once again can't stand anyone, especially SMB to run their own loca networks without permission to snoop on you... all about the Benjamins. They spend more time and effort on crap like "widgets" to sell your info to advertisers... I don't want my employees reading about which Kardasian has the biggest butt, since they're being paid to do work.
Win 11 Pro 22H2 update only allows signing in using your MS Account and a 6 digit pass code.

Same problem.
No access to a Synology NAS since the 23H2 update, it was good with 22H2.
All other OS' work fine.

Same problem. Haven't found anything definitive in the mostly outdated guidance I've found...
