Azure blob storage Backup

Hi Team,

We are planning to backup the Blob Storage using Backup Center. Can we use existing backup policies or create new policies. Will the vaults be displayed in the existing Backup Vaults which we have or in the Backup center. What is the maximum retention period for these blob storages?

Similarly, it talks about Azure Virtual Machines. Is it different from the existing Azure Backups. Please suggest.

    Azure backup center is just a management tool for Azure Backup. Azure Backup is the underlying backup service here. Azure Backup Center is really just used for monitoring and reporting of the Azure Backup service so the limitations of the backup would be that of Azure Backup.

    In terms of Azure backup center support, this is currently supported for Azure VM backup, SQL in Azure VM backup, SAP HANA in Azure VM backup, Azure Files backup, Azure Blobs backup, Azure Managed Disks backup, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL Server backup.
