WAS and W3SVC are important service in Windows. Did you try to reboot windows server to restart them?
Only some third-party defender tools and virus will cause this issue. Please try following methods.
Method 1
- Start the server in safe mode.
- If the error doesn't exist, perform a clean boot on server.
Method 2
- Disable all third-party windows defender tools and scan server with Microsoft Safety Scanner. You can get this scanner from here by free. Microsodt Windows Defender is a great defender to protect your machine. There's no need to use other third-party tools.
Method 3
- Perform SFC scan on your computer and check. Use SFC to troubleshoot missing or cprrupted system files.
