Authenticator on Android

Question

I'm trying to login to salesforce using Microsoft Authenticator app and the codes I try to use return this message:

"That code is invalid or expired. Try another."

I've tried it a dozen times allowing it to provide a new, fresh code. I've also closed the app, restarted the phone, closed the browser completely, used a different browser, cleared the cookies, etc. Still receiving same message.
