Dear All,

I want to know how can i set an alert in Analytics when hearbeat stops from any one of the server.

I am able to set the alert based on the number of computers reporting hearbeat but we might install log analytics agent on more computers and then I'll have to change the count everytime.

Tried to save the number of computers reporting to log analytics service before 2 hours and now, but I am not able to find an option where I can compare those 2 variables and return true or false in order to trigger alert.

    Hi @Ankit Joshi ,

Please check this thread where the same was discussed, and where you can also find the KQL Queries that are recommended to be used in the Azure Monitor Alert Rule for Heartbeat missing:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/157178/best-way-to-alert-on-heart-beat-alert-in-azure.html

    I hope it helps

    George
