My SQL server on Azure is showing disabled. How can I connect to it via SQL Management Studio and make backup of it? I got Login Failed error and can't do anything.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hello @Erland Sommarskog , thanks for your reply. Yes, I am talking about Azure SQL database. Today, I logged-in into Azure Portal and noticed that Azure SQL server is in status Disabled. After further checks I noticed that my Subscription is disabled too. Under this subscription we have 2 azure sql databases which are very important for us and which we frequently use for our daily work.

After further investigating, today I read that Microsoft has announced that they will close (shut down) Microsoft Cloud Deutschland environment and that all subscriptions will have to be migrated to new data centers. I read about this topic first time today. Here the url:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/cloud-platform/germany-cloud-regions

We did not know about this information and now we have a problem. Our Azure SQL server is from today not accessible anymore, we can not do any action through the portal, no access to data, no backups, we can not do an export. We are able to log in into Portal and we can see all our resources including sql databases but unfortunatelly we can not access them.

The only thing I could do today is to open a New Support Request via Azure Portal, and now we wait for response from Azure Customer Support. Hope they will contact and help us.

Really hope we will get our databases back on track.

    Dear All,

Microsoft Support Engineer contacted us on Friday and informed us that as of January 27th, all subscriptions and data were deleted from old Microsoft Cloud Germany data centers.
Unfortunately, nothing could be done to restore it.
Dear @GeethaThatipatri-MSFT , dear @Erland Sommarskog , thank you for your support .

    Best regards,
