Direct Routing - Local Media Optimization - External NAT (Trusted IP)

I am planning to configure an SBC with Local Media Optimization to make the traffic of internal users goes directly to the internal IP of the SBC
In the following link:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/direct-routing-media-optimization
it shows that there is an "External NAT (Trusted IP)" for each subnet
Do I really need to have multiple Public IPs (one for each subnet)?
How to do it to reduce the number of Public IPs?

"Is it possible to use the public IP of the SBC as Trusted IP?"
I am afraid not , external trusted IPs are the Internet external IPs of the enterprise network. These IP’s are the IP addresses used by Microsoft Teams clients when they connect to Microsoft 365. For more details about how to IP address to route to Microsoft Phone system, you could refer it.
