Azure Blob Storage is the only storage platform that supports SFTP over object storage natively in a serverless fashion, enabling you to leverage object storage economics and features. With multi-protocol support, you can run your applications on a single storage platform with no application rewrites necessary, therefore eliminating data silos.
Supporting both NFSv3 and SFTP on blob accounts is a post GA item. Can you please explain scenario more on syncing files with on-prem using SFTP?

@Mike P Azure Blob SFTP does not have a native way to sync with other accounts. Event Grid, Azure Functions, and Azure Data Factory might help with this. Cloud Solution Architects might have more context and be able to help with building solutions.
