We have checked their OneDrive etc. but can find no trace of them.
Does this affect other recordings owned by the user?
How about other users in the same organization, can they download teams meeting recordings as expected?
Please first have a look at the Recycle Bin as well to see if these recordings can be found there. In case it doesn't help, it would be better if you can remove all personal information and then share a screenshot of the message which indicates the recordings have been deleted.
