Login info not registering on laptop after download and monthly subscription purchase

I purchased the monthly payment bundle of microsoft office suite and downloaded a Powerpoint document for school work, I cannot edit or save the document because Powerpoint states that I must login. I used my login information and it does not recognize my password. I request the code be sent to my email, I recieve it and enter it, and it does not log in. I logged in to the Microsoft website and it logged in with the password, but it does not display the product I purchased (the monthly version)... However, when I checked my email, I have been charged $35 for this Microsoft suite. Why can't I access and do my school work?

    Where did you purchase the subscription?
    What version of Office did you use?
    Did you install the same version Office as your subscription account?
