autodiscover for multiple domains on exchange 2016

Let me begin that I followed already certain procedures and that it does not really solved my problem.
Wanted::: I want that my outlook on pc or on mobile can configure the mailbox automatically (after giving e-mail address and password) + no popup because SSL certificate has no entry of the mail domain name.

We have 1 exchange server 2016 and about 30 - 50 mail domains. But I want to start with let's say 10 mail domains.

So looking on the net gives rather similar solutions but does these effectively work? not in my setup.
This one is a procedure: https://www.mailenable.com/kb/content/article.asp?ID=ME020695

So I want to know if it is really possible to have an IIS setup which will forward the autodiscover request and how I can avoid to have popups for the SSL certificate. To be clear: we have a SSL certificate where we can put no more than 5 mail domains in it.

Are there better links? Can someone confirm that this setup should be working?
Many thanks in advance.

Best regards
Kurt

    Hi @Kurt Stichelmans

Here is a related thread discussed the similar issue as yours: Issue with multiple domains on Exchange Server 2016

You need an autodiscover entry for every domain in your public certificate. If you don't want to change your certificate, you can create SRV-records in your internal and external DNS to get Autodiscover working properly without certificate errors. Also, you can configure a http redirect solution.

    1. Regarding to configuring SRV records: Exchange 2013, 2016 - Autodiscover with multiple domains and single name certificate
    2. And another method, configuring HTTP redirect: Exchange 2010 AutoDiscover for Multi-Tenant
