Teams status not changing

I have noticed that sometimes when I return from an hour long lunchbreak to my computer, that my Teams status is still set as "Available" - i.e, Teams has not automatically changed the status to "Away" after me being gone for 5 minutes (my computer does not lock unless I manually lock it). Do others see me as being available when this happens, or is it only client side?

    Hi @Anonymous

Teams has not automatically changed the status to "Away" after me being gone for 5 minutes.

Does anyone else have the same problem in your organization?

Based on my experience, Teams automatically changes your status to Away when your computer enters sleep or idle mode. The same thing happens when you lock your PC. The program takes these signals as proof of your unavailability and changes your status accordingly. We recommend you check if the status could be changed when you lock your screen.
