I have an application running on my windows, it gets some periodic update on a daily base then executes a reboot when necessary.
Somehow these reboot behavior are logged in my windows as faulting events. But I checked the application log, it's just executing its reboot mission.
I am curious, what is the criteria for an application's behavior to be considered as "faulting".
"reboot behavior are logged in my windows as faulting events" can you post an example of the event?
from your text I can't see if you mean event ID 1000 from event log, or some different event.
Hey here is the image:
So I checked the application log, the application received a windows signal to itself shut down. Then a reboot is executed. I am not sure why it could be regarded as fault.
the application crashed with a access violation.
