Google calendar not integrating with MS Teams

Hi,

I receive this message:

AADSTS50020: User account 'xxx@Karima ben .com' from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application '7969c887-ba98-48bb-8832-6c9239929d7c'(Microsoft Teams meeting add-on for Google Workspace) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account\

Any suggestions how to solve this?

Thanks,
Willeke

The error makes it sound like it is expecting an AD user name like one from within an organization like a business or school account. Was the add on added or downloaded via a work or school account? I'm also wondering if the add on is specific to paid company accounts with Google G-Suite which is a business software license, not really the standard Google Calendar ("Google Workspace" is mentioned in the app name.)

    Hi @Willeke van Rijn ,

Considering that it's a public forum, I've eidted your thread by removing the email address involved in order to protect your personal information.

Then regarding to the issue you descrived, are you trying to login on the Teams meeting add-on using a personal hotmail account? If this is the case, it's an expected result as according to the official document below, the Teams meeting add-on for Google Workspace requires "a Microsoft work or school account"(which is usually created on purpose by your organization's IT department):

Below is a screenshot from my test using a personal outlook.com account and can reproduce the error you encountered:
